Los Angeles 2013

From Las Vegas we drove down to Los Angeles I had a few shoots lined up. The most challenging part of shooting abroad was adapting my kit, and shooting with a lot less equipment than I would normally use. This is great as it forces you to think about the images differently and plan lighting and angles etc but too be adaptable. Our first shoot in LA was with well known fitness model Diego Sebastian www.diegosebastianfitness.com I was thrilled to get too shoot at the famous Santa Monica Stairs. We shot a full body workout there, swell as some portrait shots. Check out my twitter @snhfoto for a preview of one of the shots. Also will have a BTS video to post soon.

Next up was a beach shoot, how can you come to LA and not shoot on the beach, a few miles along the coast from the famous Muscle Beach at Venice is Dockweiler State beach, friday morning it was nearly deserted. We were lucky enough to shoot the stunning Loni Christine www.facebook.com/LoniChristineWillison, I can’t wait for people to see these images the location and the model are stunning I am so pleased with the results. We were also able to squeeze in a few non planned last minutes shoots, including a 10 minute shoot racing again a setting sun on Santa Monica beach with Carla Curva in an evening dress, so will get something from that shoot up soon. Also had some down time and got too do some touristy things like visit the Hollywood, also managed to squeeze in a visit to Golds Gym Venice all in all had a blast travelling and shooting stateside, looking forward to seeing these shoots get out there, and hoping to head back out there soon.
